First visit Cargolux Boeing 747-8F

10/14/2011Just two days after the first ever Boeing 747-800F was delivered to to MAA customer Cargolux the aircraft paid a visit to the airport. It performed two touch & go’s and a final stop after which the aircraft returned to it’s home base in Luxemburg.
The new aircraft is over 5 meters longer than it’s predecessor and features a renewed wing design. Another important improvement comes in the form of GEnx-2B engines which set a new standard in efficiency and noise.
