Milan-Bergamo

The city of Milan was founded around the year 600 BC and has had a rich history throughout the centuries. Many buildings from various periods through it’s history can still be seen and visited. There are to many sites to give a complete overview but  the Castello Sforzesco, the Duomo, which took five centuries to construct, the  Santa Maria delle Grazie with famous da Vinci paintings and  Sant’Ambrogio monastery are generally considered amongst the highlights.

Many hearts will skip a beat when hearing the city’s name, both male and female. The city is known as THE shopping paradise of Europe. Also the city is home to the legendary San Siro soccer stadion where both AC and Inter Milan play their matches, the cycling classic Milan-San Remo starts in the centre and the Monza race track is right around the corner.
