Belgian Limburg

On crossing the Belgian border less than 5 kilometres from the airport, you set foot in Belgian Limburg, an area where you can find countless villages with their own individual feel. The hilly landscape is rich in agriculture, with many fruit trees blossoming in spring. All of this is best explored by renting a bike from local tourist offices and following one of the many pre-defined trails. The region is also home to countless numbers of specialty beer producers - ideal stops during your explorations. Spending some time in the city of Hasselt, with its many shops, restaurants and night clubs, is certainly recommended.
