General Aviation

General Aviation is the term used worldwide to describe private and business executive air traffic. Maastricht Aachen Airport welcomes such flights and continually works on improving services for general aviation users.

In the business sector, speed is everything. At Maastricht Aachen Airport business flights receive a "Door to Door" service via Maastricht Handling Services. Travel by cab or car from your office which will stop at the bottom of the aircraft stairs and vice versa. Our service is highly valued by an ever expanding group of customers.

  
General aviation passengers & Crews: At present, users of private flights are offered transportation across the airport when scheduled service or holiday charter aircraft are handled. In the near future a large contingent of our general aviation flights will be handled at a dedicated area of the airport. This will result in even greater flexibility for general aviation users. 

Departing general aviation crews and passengers gain access to the airside area via the general aviation passage in the passenger terminal. Arriving crews report to the Airport Company for payment charges. This office is also home to the Flight Information Office and Meteo Terminal. Via the general aviation passage crews can also access landside areas.
