At Maastricht Aachen Airport the Stella aviation academy and Air Service Limburg provide pilots and instructor trainings.
     

   
Stella aviation academy: the Stella aviation academy is a fully certified training institution for civil aviation, including Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320 aircraft. The academy at Maastricht Aachen Airport has it's own classrooms, hangars and aircraft. The school is a highly valued professional organisation with an intimate atmosphere. Due to this, students are able to shape their future careers in a relaxed yet performance oriented atmosphere. Stella graduates work for airlines such as Lufthansa, Transavia.com, VLM, Ryanair and Easyjet.
    
Stella aviation is part of the Steltenberg Group. Besides the Stella aviation academy, Stella aviation further consists of a maintance companies for smaller (Stella aviation maintenance) and larger aircrafts (Stella aviation technics).

Besides a wide selection of aerial tours, Air Service Limburg qualified as a Flight Training Organisation (FTO) in March 2007. ASL is certified to train for all European pilot licenses, including instructor licenses. ASL is also certified by the FAA as an Approved Training Facility. Furthermore the company is committed to obligatory training for cockpit crews.

   
ASL and Maastricht Aachen Airport closely co-operate in improving facilities for general aviation at the airport. In the near future ASL will move to a new building at the east-side of the airport from which it will offer a range of maintenance services and be responsible for the handling of general and corporate aviation aircraft.
