Need assistance? Apply in time!
If you need assistance, it is important that you notify us in time. You can already apply for assistance when booking your flight. Your travel agent or the airline with which you fly should inform us about your request at least 48 hours before the departure or arrival time of your flight. We will then ensure that assistance is available when you arrive at the airport.
Present yourself at the airport
Upon arrival at Maastricht Aachen Airport, please present yourself at one of the designated points of arrival/departure for people with a disability or reduced mobility. You can find these points opposite the ‘vertrek/departures’ entrance to the passenger terminal and near the parking spaces for the disabled at P2.
Parking for people with reduced mobility
For passengers with a disability or reduced mobility, extra-large parking spaces are available at car park P2, directly behind the steel entrance gate. For meeters and greeters, a number of parking spaces is available beside the payment terminal of the car park opposite the passenger terminal.
Facilities in the terminal
The main facilities in the terminal are on ground level. Doors and elevators open automatically. In the terminal, you can also find disabled toilet facilities.
Air transport of wheelchairs with wet-cell batteries is usually not permitted. Sometimes restrictions regarding wheelchair dimensions apply as well. Please make sure that your travel agent or airline informs you in advance or that you check their websites. We also recommend that you take an extra half hour into account for check-in.
